The Employee does not exist, or the password provided is incorrect (Prestashop)

If you are getting below  error message after entering the login details in your Prestashop admin :-

Error:-

The Employee does not exist, or the password provided is incorrect

Do the below steps :-

The reason of this error, perhaps that cookies don’t match in your MD5 hash of password.

Update the employee’s password with matching cookie:

UPDATE employee SET passwd = md5(”<COOKIE_KEY><yourNewPassword>”) WHERE email = “youremailaddress”;

You can find cooking key in the config/settings.inc.php

E.g

Password (new as old) must have at least 8 characters!

Password protect not working (WordPress)

When you have installed WordPress under your main domain and you wish to set any Directory as password protected which is present under your domain’s public_html Directory but after setting the directory as a password protected
You are getting 404 error or not found error while browsing/accessing the URL.

Just do the below simple step 🙂

1) Open the .htaccess files in which your password protect code is inserted and the below line.

ErrorDocument 401 default

save it and you have done it 🙂

Error: “Cheatin’ uh?”

Use the following steps to resolved the issue.
1) Open the file media-upload.php via WordPress dashboard or in your Favorited editor.

[root@vps~]# vi wp-admin/media-upload.php

and go to  line number 126 or find word Cheatin.
and Just comment  the code 

 

From

wp_die( __( ‘Cheatin’ uh?’ ) );

To

// wp_die( __( ‘Cheatin’ uh?’ ) );

Save the file :wq!

That’s it you have Done 😀

When you activate the plugin form your WordPress Dashboard and then some time it shows the error

Error : You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page

Then what to do?

Just go through the following steps :-

1) Open wp-config.php file using your favorite editor and

find the below content and replace it with the keys as below mentioned :-

Below is very usefull commands of WordPress using MYSQL shell :-
1) first login as a Root and access your database using your database login

root@data[~]# mysql -u DB_USER -p
Enter password:

2) Use your Database 
mysql> use DB_NAME;

3)To check the current theme in wordpress :-
mysql> SELECT * FROM `wp_options` WHERE `option_name` = ‘current_theme’;

4)To check the siteurl link :-
mysql> select * from wp_options where option_name = ‘siteurl’;

5)To check the home URL link :-
   mysql> select * from wp_options where option_name = ‘home’;

6)To change the “siteurl” and “home” URL :-
mysql>  UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = replace(option_value, ‘http://current url ‘, ‘http://New URL’) WHERE option_name = ‘home’ OR option_name = ‘siteurl’;

7)To check how many users in wordpress :-
   mysql> select * from wp_users where user_login like ‘%’;

8)To change the user-password :-
mysql>  UPDATE `wp_users` SET `user_pass` = MD5( ‘12345678’ ) WHERE `wp_users`.`ID` =1;     —–> ID represent diffrent users.

9)Show all tables in the database:-

Error while upgrading wordpress

Could not create directory.: /public_html

Solution :

Remove the directory called “upgrade” from under “wp-content and recreate the same again. If needed give 777 permission for the upgrade to complete.
